We don't really "own" anything. We come into this world with nothing. We can take nothing when we leave. We really only "borrow" things for the short amount of time that we are here.

A collection of thoughts, opinions and feelings by "The Shack" (not to be confused with "Shaq", a famous baskeball player who has a heck of a lot more money.) On any given day, "The Shack" may be angry, hateful and vengeful, or loving, forgiving and compassionate. Which will he be today?

- I am a middle-age (elderly, according to my kids,) married man originally from Ohio. At times, I feel very bitter, angry and hateful. At other times, I am calm, understanding, tolerant and compassionate. The writings contained here will show both extremes and some things in between, including some funny stuff.
